Widowhood affects a large percentage of the world population, such that 1 in 3 people over the age of 65 are widowed, and around 800,000 people are widowed each year. While spousal loss is such a widespread occurrence, many people lack proper access to resources, and proper widow and widower support groups, after their loss.
Widow Care strives to alleviate social isolation, create camaraderie and promote healing through 3 focus areas: Support, Social Engagement & Strength.

Our programs include peer support groups, educational/grief seminars, social meetups, one-on-one mentorship & personalized in-home volunteer assistance.
