Widow Care Peer Support Group (Weekly Zoom Meeting)

Hello everyone! 

Thank you for bearing with us as Widow Care undergoes some transitions and changes. Given the restrictions posed by COVID-19, the Peer Support Group will be hosted on a weekly basis via Zoom. The virtual meeting is open to widows and widowers of all ages. 

We believe in the importance of having a safe space to open up about the pain and grief that stems from loss and finding support from others who have also suffered from loss - especially during challenging times like these. The goal is to focus on talking and listening to one another and lifting each other up. 

Agenda: -Discuss group guidelines to ensure safety and confidentiality -Icebreakers for getting to know each other and feeling comfortable -The floor will then be open to anyone who wants to speak about whatever is on their mind-- resurfaced memories, grief, new relationships, whatever it may be. -Close out the session and offer materials, such as grief resources, other support groups, partner services, etc.
