About The Event
RSVP to our FREE widow(er) speaking series. We've invited grief speakers and industry specialists to educate & inspire. Featured grief speakers include former Fortune 100 Executive & widow/breast cancer survivor Linda Crill (author of "Blind Curves"), Pati Redmond (author of "We The Widows: A Guide to Your New Life"), and NYC Comedian & Storyteller, Dalveer Kaur. Featured educators include The Capitol Bay Group of Ameriprise Financial.
Linda is not a "one-size-fits-all" woman. She traded corporate suits for motorcycle leathers. Her unusual story of reinvention looks at how to find new meaning when life throws you the unexpected and undeserved. When the current ways no longer work, Linda Crill helps you answer "What Now?"
Pati Redmond invites you to walk with her through the ten-year process of writing her book and rediscovering independence. Learn how you can get through all the trials and tribulations of life as a single woman. How do you become that independent person you need to be to manage your new life?
Dalveer Kaur, author of the blog "The Stache and Dimple: Ramblings from a street-certified neuro-oncologist and widow of love and grief", will address young widowhood and the real cost of grief.
We've also invited speakers from our sponsor, The Capitol Bay Group of Ameriprise Financial, to educate members about financial planning as a widowed person.
Visit Rockville Memorial Library on Wednesday, April 17th from 6:30pm-9:30pm for Widow Care's free seminar. We will be meeting in the 1st floor meeting room. You must RSVP-- space is limited, so the event is first-come-first-served.
